Whenever I start a project I always think in terms of three steps. I listen. I understand. And then, I execute. Listening is not just hearing. For me it involves research. When I discover new facts about something, it’s the same as listening. I talk to people who have expertise in that area or I read what they have to say.
I inhale the research and allow it to saturate my mind. I process it to see what works best for me. If the information doesn’t stick or it’s not what I need at the time, I file it away. It may be needed for something or someone else. I always try and remember that it may not be needed for me but for another person’s journey. It’s a fantastic feeling to be able to contribute to another person’s success or to help them find peace! Remember…information is a powerful gift! Next time, we’ll discuss understanding.
Getting it done and handling your business is hard work and you cannot do it alone. Remember, I’m here to help. Next time, we’ll discuss step two!
